Rowan Gymnastics Club offer a dedicated and friendly venue for any member of the community to participate safely in amateur gymnastics.
Rowan Gymanstics Club have range of classes suitable for all ages and abilities where gymnasts develop their fitness, strength, flexibility, coordination, balance and control.
Parent & Child Gymanstics Class
From walking to 3 years old
The aim of the class is to give the children an enjoyable experience and introduction to gymnastics. Our sessions help to develop each child’s motor skills and at the same time be a captivating and enjoyable experience for all involved, whilst maintaining a structured learning environment.
Pre-School Gymnastics Class
3 years old to school age
The Pre-School gymanstic classses aim to develop each gymnasts balance, co-ordination and action skills. The classes give the children an experience of gymnastics in a structured environment.
There is also a selection of Mini Gymnastics Equipment. This includes Mini Bar, Low Beam, Mini Trampoline, Mini Vault set up and Slope, all with associated matting. Various rewards are offered to encourage each child to take part to the best of their ability.
Infant Gymanstics Class
School age children to 7 years of age
These sessions are specifically designed to aid skills and development. The classes give all children the opportunity to achieve and raise their self-esteem and take part in a disciplined, safe and fun environment. Many gymnastics skills are taught and lessons are planned so that skills are built upon session by session.
Junior Gymanstics Class
Children aged between 7 and 10 years old
Following a fun and active warm-up session, gymnasts work on floor skills and then are split into groups and rotate around the apparatus.
The classes give all participants the opportunity to achieve and raise their self-esteem and take part in a disciplined, safe and fun environment. Many gymnastics skills are taught and lessons are planned so that skills are built upon session by session.
Senior Gymanstics Class
For 10 to 18 year olds
Rowan Gymanstics Club senior classes are designed to put the gymnast at the centre of their own learning and gymnasts are encouraged to pursue their own personal goals; whether that be from learning how to perfect a handstand to a round off flic on the tumble track.
The classes alternate between a more structured session planned out by the coaches and on the opposite weeks to these there is a more unstructured/open session, where the gymnasts are able to design their session around their personal targets.
