Now THIS is what I call an incredible park and it’s free. Priory Park in Malvern has the most fantastic playground. It had a half a million investment back in 2022 from the Malvern Hill Disctrict Council and it’s still looking great a couple of years on when we visited (2024).
The playground is made from sustainable timber, planting and materials giving it a natural and rustic feel. There’s lots variety to with natural boulders to clamber over, crawl through hobbit holes, hide in a hollow tree trunk, walk across a rope bridge, swing on a basket swing and even meet a giant dragonfly.
We also loved playing in the little stream/waterfall nearby too!
Take a picnic or shop/eat local and you have hours of beautiful, natural, wholesome entertainment.
Situated just in front of the stunning Abbey, gorgeous grounds & a lovely lake too. It’s also next to Malvern Splash (swimming pool) and Malvern Theatre so you could combine it as part of a bigger day out.

Parking is nearby or some on the road. You can park opposite Malvern Splash (pay) & you will find this incredible park just behind it!
