Today we visited the eye catching and engaging Pirates Landing soft play in Camberley we’ve come across. Having a 2 year old and an 8 month old it’s hard to find a soft play centre which caters for both, and where I can safely leave one to explore with the other. From the moment we walked through the door my little boy was in total amazement, and his little face was full of pure joy. He literally didn’t know where to look first.
The under 4s play frame was brightly coloured and imaginative which captured my little girls attention straight away. There was a lower section where she could crawl around safely and explore the soft play rockers, hanging bollards, stacking cubes and a very appealing light.
My older boy was able to climb up the level and explore the double slide which ended up in a ball pit. There was also a bubble window where he could look out from and explore the climbing frame from a higher point.
For the older children they had a multi level floor to ceiling play frame which had a variety of engaging activists on each level. Situated in the middle of the play frame was a rainbow slide and you could access this by climbing up the staggered staircase.
My little boy was brave enough to climb this on his own and had lots of fun sliding down. There was also another ball pit in this play frame along with an enclosed slide, hanging bollards, play tunnel, mirrors, and a variety of sloping steps to gain access to the top. The netting around the play frame not only keeps the little ones safe it’s also great as means you can keep an eye on them as there’s no blind corners or places to hide.
If you needed a break from all the soft play fun there was numerous tables and chairs conveniently situated between both play frames so you could easily sit and enjoy the little ones playing. The cafe was great and had a good selection of food and drinks available. My little ones loved the pirate treasure box for their lunch and I was able to enjoy a nice hot coffee in peace.
Once we had finished on the soft play there was a selection of amusement arcade rides to enjoy, which although we didn’t pay extra for these my little ones still enjoyed playing on them. There was also a large pirate ship and pirate where they host birthday parties.
We had a lovely morning here, the facilities were very well kept and most importantly nice and clean. Having a baby who’s crawling it’s great to know she could safely explore without the worry about cleanliness. The staff were really friendly and helpful (even when I spilt my coffee they were on the ball and ensured it was cleaned immediately)
Situated in Camberley just outside the Atrium Shopping centre the location is perfect. There is ample parking and plenty of shops and restaurants to explore once you’ve tired yourselves out in the soft play.
From the moment we entered Pirates Landing to the moment we left, the smiles on my little ones faces told me that they were having such a good time, and the fact both feel asleep on the way home too just shows how much fun they had today. Will be coming back to explore again and bringing more little pirates with us.
