I’ve been eagerly awaiting the opening of Giggleville, the new soft play in Guildford, and after seeing sneak previews of the plans I know instantly that Noah and Isabella would love it there – and they did. The under water theme was a massive hit, with lovely details such as Octopus pictures, sea creatures and a beautiful water backdrop.
Giggleville Softplay is a family run business children’s play café offering fun and friendly environment for 0-7 years to play. Although not overly big, it is large enough for this age range to safely explore at their own leisure and the entire softplay area is fully visible so you don’t need to follow them around – you can actually sit and watch them.
Set upon two floors the top section has balancing beams and gives access to the multi slide which leads to the brightly coloured ball pit (this was a lot of fun and felt really deep) both little ones were literally sinking in here and had great fun throwing the balls at one another.
The lower floor has tunnels to crawl through, ball swing and also a trampoline. Noah loved bouncing around the trampoline and seeing how high he could go and doing star jumps. For smaller children there was also a separate area of the soft play for them to enjoy, and this was nicely cushion with soft flooring and had different shapes which they could play with.
Towards the back of the room there is a separate area which has some reading books, soft mats, a few push along cars and a table with colouring pens and paper. This area is great as gives the children the opportunity to sit quietly and recharge their batteries before going into the softplay for more fun. It’s also a welcome addition for babies who aren’t crawling as gives them variety too.
They also offer a variety of hot and cold drinks, snacks, and delicious cakes to keep you refreshed and energised, with plenty of seating around the outside of the soft play frame you can sit and relax whilst the children play.
Open 7x days a week with four sessions running each day and lasting 90x minutes. It’s a great addition to the area and even better that it’s open on weekends too. Which means even more time to come play and experience the fun at Giggleville.
