Panto Express & Father Christmas Visit at Bucks Railway Centre Review

We had a fabulous afternoon out last year at the Bucks Railway Centre Panto Express with Father Christmas.

Double the fun and double the reviews as Natalie our MK mum joined us too for a some Christmas magic at Buckinghamshire Railway Centre.

We started with a ride on their fabulous steam train, compete with a visit from a naughty elf and then Santa himself! Santa was fabulous and he had a big bag of amazing age themed presents for the kids.
We were very impressed with the boys gifts and they were over the moon.
The boys had a little play at the fabulous play park that is now at the railway centre and then Parker had a turn on the tea cups which he loved (and which were included in the ticket price!).
Then it was time for the panto! The story was a twist on beauty and the beast and was fun, silly and full of songs. The boys really loved it and with a running time of just half an hour it kept their attention the whole time!
We finished off by heading to the museum for their elf hunt which was so much fun. The four of us were racing to find them first and we had such a giggle. Some of the elves were hidden in such a creative way it was great!
The cafe was also open which offers a range of drinks and food, there was a Christmassy stall for sweets, headboppers etc and the usual gift shop was also open.
I can’t end without mentioning the incredible Christmas decorations, the Railway centre looked so beautiful and the boys couldn’t believe how big the tree was!
All of this with the usual excitement we have with seeing the trains and the toy trains to play with meant we had a really wonderful and Christmassy afternoon
So what did Natalie think?
We had an absolutely brilliant afternoon out, it was a pretty perfect Sunday afternoon. Little stalls and sweeties then we boarded the train which felt truly magical! We were visited by an elf and athe big man himself which the girls adored. The presents they received were lovely too.
The girls enjoyed the teacup ride and we like the goodies from the shops (mummy liked the mulled wine) then off to the panto. It was 25 mins which is the perfect amount of time for littles ones.

Such a wonderful time had by all 4 of us and really got us read for December. Bella said she loved the steam train the most and Betsy loved seeing Father Christmas the most.
