Medieval Jousting at Stonor Park
5 May - 6 May
One of the most popular events in Stonor Park’s event calendar, Medieval Jousting, makes its return on Sunday 5th and Bank Holiday Monday 6th May 2024.
The Medieval Jousting weekend at the Oxfordshire estate near Henley-on-Thames, sees the Knights of Royal England perform dramatic and entertaining displays.
Testing their bravery and skill, the knights joust at full speed on their Andalusian steeds to overpower their opponents whilst trying to unseat them from their horses. Visitors are entertained with foot combat, talented horsemanship, exciting commentary and are encouraged to cheer for their favourites and heckle the losers, before watching the winning knight be crowned.

Included in the ticket price is access to Tumblestone Hollow, Stonor Park’s magical adventure playground. It is said that five special characters, Pebble, Grit, Obsidian, Jem and Flint live at Tumblestone Hollow, guarding the magical powers of the mystical stone circle. Visitors can explore the tree tops, wander the wide forest floor and enjoy the high level walkways, lookout decks and bridges.
After working up an appetite, enjoy a hog roast, gourmet burgers using locally sourced meat, or The Rumble Hut’s famous wood-fired pizzas, with toppings to suit the whole family. Cool off with Italian-style gelato ice cream, specially imported from Bologna, a glass of Rebellion beer, mead, wine and other soft drinks, with tea and coffee also available.
Demand is expected to be high, so pre-booking tickets is highly recommended.
