Cheltenham Children’s Festival 2023
24 June, 2023 @ 11:00 am - 3:00 pm
Saturday 24th June will see the Cheltenham Children’s Festival return to the Cheltenham Town Hall for the 6th time with the theme of ‘Togetherness’ Uplifting and free!
The day will feature a large variety of performances, activities and workshops giving children and families the opportunity to play together, learn together and grow together.
The Cheltenham Children’s Festival is the town’s only 100% FREE family festival! Last year saw over 1000 families through the doors of Cheltenham’s iconic Town Hall .
The theme of this year’s festival is ‘Togetherness’ and will include 3 zones of activities. Play Together, Learn Together and Grow Together.
Each year between 25-30 organisations from schools, charities, youth organisations and private sector businesses give their time and resources to provide fun and educational activities for children of all ages. There will be a wide range of activities to take part in such as sports, drama, arts and so much more!
Following last year’s success, the festival will see the return of the ‘Town Centre Stage’ which gives young people a chance to showcase their talents to the public!
For the first time, this years festival will include a ‘quiet hour’ from 10:00-11:00 where spaces will be limited and must be booked via Eventbrite (link coming soon). This is to cater for those children and families who have additional needs and for whom the festival can be a little overwhelming.
The festival will then be open access from 11:00-15:00. No booking is required, just turn up on the day!
