Blewbury Play Space
Head over to Blewbury to find a brilliant playground designed for children 8 years and over. Younger children can enjoy this adventure park too with adult supervision. It’s situated on the edge of Tickers Folly Field and has lots of unusual wooden structures to climb on and swing from.
There are several triangular structures to climb up and over and make dens inside. Try swinging across the muddy pit or whizzing along on the fast zip wire. There is a climbing structure with a huge recycled water drainage tube slide and a circle of swings. Get dizzy on the birds nest swing which rotates in all directions.
Next to the playground there is a skate ramp. There’s also plenty of space in the open field for running and kicking a ball. There is a covered area with toadstool seats to shelter in if the weather is bad.
Parking and Amenities
There is plenty of parking
by Ticker’s Folly Field but no toilets.
A trip to the tea room at Savages Garden Centre across the main road is highly recommended after a trip to the park for a great coffee, delicious cake or lunch. For younger children, there is a selection of books and colouring activities in the cafe.
