Cotswold Lavender (Wiltshire)

The Cotswold Lavender fields open in 2021 from 16th June to 5th August. They are set in the beautiful Cotswold countryside, tucked into Worcestershire but close to the borders of Oxfordshire and Gloucestershire.   A third generation family farm, they have been growing lavender since 1999, now with over 40 varieties and 140 miles of rows.  No pre booking, pay on arrival.

Hitchin Lavender (Hertfordshire)

Hitchin Lavender in Hertfordshire is an awesome place to visit with tickets available to pre book online. Lavender fields open from 26th June and they also have a Wildflower meadow which will flower from around end of June and then glorious sunflowers are predicted to be looking good from mid August.

Somerset Lavender Farm (Somerset)

There’s no entry fee to visit Somerset Lavender Farm near Bath, you’ll find donation boxes instead.  A working lavender farm, located south of Bath in Faulkland, they are open May-September Wednesday-Sunday 10am-5pm.  Dogs on leads are welcome.   In the Lavender Field see over five acres of Lavender, walk through the field and absorb the sight of more than 50,000 Lavender plants with bees humming, collecting pollen to make honey. There’s also a lavender garden, flower and vegetable garden, farm shop and cafe.

Mayfield Lavender (Surrey)

Mayfield Lavender are  a family run 25 acre organic lavender farm in Surrey.  Open to the public, the beautiful lavender fields in Banstead are just 15 miles from the centre of London, 15 minutes from Croydon, 10 minutes from Epsom and 20 minutes from the Hook underpass on the A3.  They’re already open to the public but the lavender won’t bloom until around mid June.

Norfolk Lavender (Norfolk)

Founded in 1932, Norfolk Lavender has nearly 100 acres of lavender under cultivation. Set in beautiful tranquil gardens on the West Norfolk coast, this would make a lovely stop on a summer family holiday.  Open year round, they also have large gardens to explore and an animal garden where the peacocks, ducks and other fowl roam freely.

Yorkshire Lavender (Yorkshire)

Yorkshire Lavender is open daily from 1st May to 24th September.  If it’s the lavender fields you’re looking to enjoy, later June and into July is best.  This Triple Award-Winning Lavender Farm, Lavender Gardens and Specialist Plant Nursery are set in a spectacular hillside farm of nearly 60 acres, within the Howardian Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.  Well signposted, find Yorkshire Lavender 3 miles west of Castle Howard, 14 miles north east of York, 8 miles west of Malton and 10 miles south east of Helmsley.
